Advocating for Student Wellbeing with Princess Diana Award & Tesco Stronger Starts

Published October 15, 2024

In collaboration with the Princess Diana Award, our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have created a multifaceted campaign focused on student wellbeing.

Key initiatives have so far included a Student Wellbeing Survey, an Art Competition to create decorative school banners, and a series of assemblies and buddying programs designed to foster community support.

The next step in our campaign is to develop a sheltered wellbeing area where students can enjoy fresh air in a calm, relaxed space.

We are proud to share that the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have already earned a community badge for their work with Salisbury Reds, and for creating the school’s first Colour Run event.

Tesco Stronger Starts Programme

We are thrilled to announce that our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have been accepted into the Tesco Stronger Starts programme. We plan to use the funds to create a wellbeing seating area — a serene outdoor space where pupils can unwind during break and lunch times.

Voting with the blue tokens officially began this month and will run until the 12th January. If you visit any of the following Tesco stores, please support St Joseph’s by adding to our collection:

  • Fordingbridge Tesco
  • Salisbury, Wilton Road Tesco
  • Salisbury, Town Centre Tesco
  • Salisbury, Southampton Road Tesco

The first-place prize is £1500, second place is £1000, and third place is £500. The more money we raise, the more we can achieve for our school community.
