In KS3, all pupils will learn a range of foundational skills in physics, chemistry and biology. Topics include cells and movement, forces, acids and alkalis, current and voltage, light and sound, the periodic table, and lots more.
At KS4, pupils can choose to study Combined or Separate Science, where they will develop what they have learnt in KS3 and build on their scientific knowledge and experience. For information about the difference between Combined and Separate Science, see the links at the bottom of this page.
