Every week, our staff send in their submissions for the Happiest Minute of the Week. These can be anything from a whole class behaving well, to the small and kind gestures that make someone’s day!
All of these Happiest Minutes are then presented to the whole school every Friday by Mr Ford and Mr Bartel in the weekly rewards raffle.
As part of our ethos here at St Joseph’s, we love to share kindness, gratitude and positivity. So without further ado, here are this week’s nominations for Happiest Minute of the Week!

- Please can you pass on my congratulations to the Year 10 Food class who sat their Mock GCSE NEA task this week. This involved cooking 3 dishes in 3 hours to the theme of high fibre dishes. They all did incredibly well, and it was great to see them so involved in what they were doing!
Mrs Halls:
- I would like to say a massive thanks to everyone who demonstrated acts of kindness to myself on my return to school after a period of sickness. And, for those who looked out for while I was away too. You all know who are. Thanks sooo much.
Mr Valjak:
- A big thank you to ALL of my Skills Day group last Friday for making the day a fun and interesting experience; plus a special shout out to WP (9V) for grilling the Head of Sarum Academy with his questions.
- Also, ALL of my Year 11 RE group for their final lessons before the GCSE exam this Monday. Very best wishes to all of Year 11 – “start off your exam season with a BANG!”
