As the calendar year draws to a close, I would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding in what has been an incredibly challenging year for us all, and share with you some important end-of-year updates.

One more week to go until we break for Christmas – although so much has happened in the last 4 months, it does only feel like yesterday that we were welcoming everyone back in September.

Today saw the last of the Year 11 mock exams and, as stated last week, we’ve been delighted with how Year 11 have tackled them and risen to the challenge.

Tomorrow (aside from being Black Friday) is a TD Day and as such school will be closed to all pupils. This update covers Covid updates, Year 11 Mocks, Movember, and more.

Can you believe that it is only 4 weeks until we break up for Christmas? This week, Mr. Rooney updates us on projects we’re completing leading up to advent, as well as Anti-Bullying Week, Movember, mock exams, and more.

All weeks are busy, but last week’s felt even busier! We had vaccinations, CAT4 tests, Remembrance Day reflections and displays, SMHW clinics, a Year 10 parents’ evening and the usual clubs and lessons! It’s true what they say, time flies when you’re having fun.

Another week done, another Friday update from Mr. Rooney! We’re delighted that Covid figures are looking a little more promising now, so here are some updates about that & other things happening in school this week.

This week we’ve had to make some touch decisions, but we hope they are all for the good of all in our community and that we can return to normal school as soon as possible.
